Telemedicine is a new term that describes a range of new services and technologies available from healthcare providers. Telemedicine tools help to improve healthcare delivery by providing patient care to remote locations around the world. This presentation will review Zoom Video Conferencing along with other telemedicine solutions such as VSee to uncover the value of video communications for telehealth. Zoom CEO Eric Yuan has recently lifted the restrictions on Zoom’s video conferencing applications in China in response to the Coronavirus outbreak (learn more in this blog post linked below). Zoom notes “Doctors from more than 1,000 public hospitals in China are using Zoom’s high-definition video meetings to conduct online consultations, remotely diagnose patients, and provide treatment during the Coronavirus epidemic.”
This presentation will include a live demonstration of a fully mobile telemedicine delivery system with a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) system. This will allow our team to demonstrate just how easily nurses can move video conferencing equipment around their work-space and connect their patients with specialists from around the world. Our team will demonstrate the PTZOptics USB video conferencing cameras with UVC camera controls that provide direct integration with Zoom Video Conferencing. This remote PTZ (Pan, Tilt and Zoom) integration with software such as Zoom and VSee allows doctors to view patients in more detail with camera controls inside their video conferencing experience.
